Simply Business Club, situated in Kent in the vibrant South East of England, emerged from a culmination of extensive experience in business networking. Having navigated through various networking groups, some fruitful, others falling short, we recognized a gap in the market for a networking platform that met all the essential criteria we deemed necessary for optimal networking experiences.
While we don’t claim expertise in the field, our journey began with a gathering of business owners and professionals who shared our sentiments. Together, we embarked on a quest to decipher what truly works in business networking and how it could be elevated to new heights.
Our inception was met with unforeseen challenges when the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted our plans after just two face-to-face meetings in February 2020. Determined not to let adversity stifle our momentum, we pivoted towards the realm of online business networking, recognizing its potential as an innovative solution to our predicament.
Transitioning onto platforms like Zoom, we embarked on a new chapter in our business networking journey, leveraging technology to bridge distances and connect professionals from diverse backgrounds.

How & why we are different!
There are several factors we wanted to introduce into our business networking events which we felt were very important:
NO LOCKOUTS
Although some other groups offer this, we also
focus a great deal on collaboration, we believe
working together helps everyone to
grow stronger, together.
NO FORCED SILENCE
We do not force people to be on mute during the meeting, there are times that we may need to mute people if their background is noisy, but overall we try to allow people to be in charge of this part of their meeting experience so everyone in attendance can participate as much as possible.
3-5 MINUTE CHAT
Instead of a 60 second elevator pitch we give every person the chance to talk for a few minutes about their business, it could be a new product, they could be after some feedback, within the 3-5 minutes people are encouraged to ask questions, give feedback and discuss which keeps everyone involved throughout the meeting and so everyone finds they know more about the other people in the room because they have been involved throughout.
NO MAXIMUM VISITS
A pay as you go system, it is your business, you should
be allowed to run it your own way, come along as a
visitor / guest as many times as you feel, there are, of
course, benefits to joining the club but it might not
be the right time for you so you can visit as often and
as frequently as you like with no pressure to join.
